Quran 10:83

But none believed in Moses except some children of his people, for fear that Pharaoh and his chiefs would persecute them. Pharaoh was high and mighty in the land. He was a tyrant.

But none trusted Moses, save some scions of his people, (and they were) in fear of Pharaoh and their chiefs, that he would persecute them. Lo! Pharaoh was verily a tyrant in the land, and lo! he verily was of the wanton.

Hasılı Fir'avn ve cem'ıyyetinin belâsı korkusundan ibtîdâ Musâya kavminin bir zürriyetinden başka iyman eden olmadı, çünkü Fir'avn o yerde çok üstün idi ve çok aşırı giden müsriflerden idi

Et personne ne crut à Moïse, excepté son propre peuple, de crainte que Pharaon et les grands ne les opprimassent (les Égyptiens) ; car Pharaon était puissant dans le pays, et il commettait des excès.

En niemand geloofde in Mozes, behalve een geslacht van zijn volk, uit vrees voor Pharao en zijne vorsten, opdat die hen niet zouden onderdrukken. En Pharao was machtig op de aarde, en was zekerlijk een der zondaren.

E nessuno credè a Mosè, fuorchè il suo proprio popolo, per timore che Faraone, ed i grandi (gli Egizi) non li opprimessero, imperciocchè Faraone era potente nel paese, e commetteva degli eccessi.
