Quran 20:69

Now throw down what is in your right hand—it will swallow what they have crafted. What they have crafted is only a magician’s trickery. But the magician will not succeed, no matter what he does.”

Throw that which is in thy right hand! It will eat up that which they have made. Lo! that which they have made is but a wizard's artifice, and a wizard shall not be successful to whatever point (of skill) he may attain.

Jette ce que tu tiens dans ta main droite (ta baguette) ; elle dévorera ce qu’ils ont imaginé ; ce qu’ils ont imaginé n’est qu’un artifice de magicien, et le magicien n’est pas heureux quand il vient subir l’examen.

Werp dus den staf weg, die zich in uwe rechterhand bevindt, en hij zal de schijnbare slangen verslinden welke zij gemaakt hebben; want hetgeen zij gemaakt hebben is slechts de kunstgreep van een toovenaar, en een toovenaar zal niet gelukkig zijn van waar hij ook moge komen.
