Quran 68:17

We tested them, as We tested the owners of the garden, when they vowed to harvest it in the morning.

Lo! We have tried them as We tried the owners of the garden when they vowed that they would pluck its fruit next morning,

Haberiniz olsun ki biz onlara belâ vermişizdir. O bağ sahiblerini belâlandırdığımız gibi; o sıra ki yemin etmişlerdi; sabah olunca onu mutlaka divşireceklerdi.

Nous les avons éprouvés (les Mecquois) comme nous avions éprouve jadis ces possesseurs du jardin quand ils jurèrent qu’il en cueilleraient les fruits le lendemain matin (de grand matin).

Waarlijk, wij hebben de bewoners van Mekka beproefd, zooals wij vroeger de eigenaars van den tuin beproefden, toen zij zwoeren, dat zij de vruchten daarvan des ochtends zouden verzamelen.
