Quran 4:97

While the angels are removing the souls of those who have wronged themselves, they will say, “What was the matter with you?” They will say, “We were oppressed in the land.” They will say, “Was Allah’s earth not vast enough for you to emigrate in it?” These—their refuge is Hell. What a wretched retreat!

Lo! as for those whom the angels take (in death) while they wrong themselves, (the angels) will ask: In what were ye engaged? They will say: We were oppressed in the land. (The angels) will say: Was not Allah's earth spacious that ye could have migrated therein? As for such, their habitation will be hell, an evil journey's end;

O kimseler ki nefislerine zulmetmekdelerken melekler canlarını aldılar, "ne işde idiniz" dediler, "biz dediler: Bu arzda zebun idik", "ya, dediler: Allah’ın arzı geniş değil mi idi oraya hicret etsenizdi ya?" İşte bunların me'vaları cehennemdir, ona gidiş de ne fena şeydir.

Les anges, en ôtant la vie à ceux qui avaient agi iniquement envers eux-mêmes, leur demandèrent : Qu’avez-vous fait ? Ils répondirent : Nous étions les faibles de la terre. Les anges leur dirent : La terre de Dieu n’est-elle pas assez vaste ? Ne pouviez-vous pas, en abandonnant votre pays, chercher un asile quelque part ? C’est pourquoi l’enfer sera leur demeure. Quelle détestable route que la leur !

Daarenboven hebben de engelen tot hen gezegd, welken zij het leven benamen, omdat zij hunne eigene zielen hadden verdoemd: Wie waart gij? Zij antwoordden: Wij waren de zwakken der aarde. De engelen hernamen: Was Gods aarde niet groot genoeg, dat gij daar geene schuilplaats vondt. Daarom zal de hel hunne woning wezen. Welk een slecht verblijf zal het hunne zijn.

Gli angeli, levando la vita a chi aveva agito iniquamente verso di loro medesimi, domandarono ad essi: Di qual paese siete? essi risposero: Eravamo i deboli della terra. Gli angeli disser loro: La terra di Dio non è forse abbastanza vasta? Non potevate voi, abbandonando il vostro paese, cercare un asilo in qualche luogo? Ecco perchè l’inferno sarà il loro soggiorno. Che strada detestabile è la loro!
