Quran 4:119

Surah An-Nisa (The Women), verse 119 of 176 · Juz 5

Translations of Quran 4:119
EnglishTalal Itani

“And I will mislead them, and I will entice them, and I will prompt them to slit the ears of cattle, and I will prompt them to alter the creation of Allah.” Whoever takes Satan as a lord, instead of Allah, has surely suffered a profound loss.

EnglishPickthall, 1930

And surely I will lead them astray, and surely I will arouse desires in them, and surely I will command them and they will cut the cattle' ears, and surely I will command them and they will change Allah's creation. Whoso chooseth Satan for a patron instead of Allah is verily a loser and his loss is manifest.

TurkishElmalılı Hamdi Yazır, 1935

Ve lâbüd onları sapıtacağım, ve her halde onları ümniyyelere düşürüp olmayacak kuruntularla aldatacağım, ve lâbüd onlara emr edeceğim de hayvanların kulaklarını dilecekler ve lâbüd onlara emredeceğim de Allah’ın halkını tağyir edecekler, ve her kim Allah’ı bırakıp Şeytanı veliyy ittihaz ederse şüphesiz açıktan açığa husrana düşmüştür.

Verses 118–119 are translated together in this edition.

DutchKeyzer, 1860, from Kazimirski's French

Verses 118–119 are translated together in this edition.

ItalianCalza, 1847, from Kazimirski's French

Verses 118–119 are translated together in this edition.
