Quran 27:49

They said, “Swear by Allah to one another that we will attack him and his family by night, and then tell his guardian, ‘We did not witness the murder of his family, and we are being truthful.’”

They said: Swear one to another by Allah that we verily will attack him and his household by night, and afterward we will surely say unto his friend: We witnessed not the destruction of his household. And lo! we are truthtellers.

Allaha yeminleşerek kavlettiler, and olsun ona ve ehline bir gece baskını yapalım, sonra da veliysine: yemîn edelim biz onun helâkine şâhid olmadık diyelim, şübhesiz sözümüz sözdür, sadıkızdır dediler

Ils se dirent entre eux : Engageons-nous, par un serment devant Dieu, à tuer, pendant la nuit, Saleh et sa famille ; nous dirons ensuite aux vengeurs de son sang : Nous n’avons pas été présents à la mort de sa famille ; nous disons la vérité.

Deze zeiden tot elkander: Zweert wederkeerig bij God, dat wij Saleh en zijn gezin des nachts zullen overvallen, en daarna zullen wij tot dengeen zeggen, die het recht heeft zijn bloed te wreken: Wij waren volstrekt niet tegenwoordig bij de uitroeiing van zijn gezin: en wij spreken de waarheid.

Si dissero fra loro: Giuriamo davanti a Dio d’uccidere nella notte Saleh e la sua famiglia; diremo quindi ai vendicatori del suo sangue: Noi non siamo stati presenti alla morte della sua famiglia; diciamo la verità.
