Quran 16:76

And Allah cites the example of two men: one of them dumb, unable to do anything, and is a burden on his master; whichever way he directs him, he achieves nothing good. Is he equal to him who commands justice, and is on a straight path?

And Allah coineth a similitude: Two men, one of them dumb, having control of nothing, and he is a burden on his owner; whithersoever he directeth him to go, he bringeth no good. Is he equal with one who enjoineth justice and followeth a straight path (of conduct)?

Allah şunu da bir temsil getirdi: iki kişi birisi dilsiz, hiç bir şeye kudreti yok, efendisine sade bir ağırlık, ne tarafa gönderilse hiç bir hayre yaramaz, hiç bu, adâletle âmir olan ve doğru bir yolda giden kimseye müsavi olabilir mi?

Dieu vous propose encore pour objet de comparaison deux hommes, dont l’un est muet de naissance. et qui ne peut rien entendre, et qui est un fardeau pour son maître ; quelque part qu’il l’envoie, celui-ci ne lui rapportera rien de bon : un tel homme peut-il aller de pair avec un homme qui commande selon toute justice et marche dans la droite voie ?

God stelt ook als eene vergelijking twee mannen voor, waarvan de een stom geboren, en niet in staat is iets te doen of te verstaan: maar een last voor zijn meester is: waarheen hij hem ook zende, hij zal hem niets goeds brengen. Zal deze man en hij die meester over zijne spraak is en verstaat, en die beveelt wat rechtvaardig is en den rechten weg volgt, gelijk geacht worden?
