Quran 16:75

Allah cites the example of a bonded slave, who has no power over anything; and someone to whom We have given plentiful provision, from which he gives secretly and openly. Are they equal in comparison? All praise belongs to Allah, but most of them do not know.

Allah coineth a similitude: (on the one hand) a (mere) chattel slave, who hath control of nothing, and (on the other hand) one on whom we have bestowed a fair provision from Us, and he spendeth thereof secretly and openly. Are they equal? Praise be to Allah! But most of them know not.

Allah şunu temsil getirdi: bir abdi memlûk, hiç bir şey'e kudreti yok, bir de o zat ki kendisine tarafımızdan güzel bir rızık nasîb etmişiz de o ondan gizli, açık infak edip duruyor, hiç bunlar müsavi olurlar mı? Bütün hamd Allahındır amma çokları bilmezler

Dieu vous propose pour objet. de comparaison un homme esclave qui ne dispose de rien, et un autre homme a qui nous avons accordé une ample subsistance, et qui en distribue une partie en aumônes publiquement et secrètement ; ces deux hommes sont-ils égaux ? Non, grâce à Dieu ; mais la plupart d’entre eux n’entendent rien.

God stelt u als eene vergelijking een slaaf voor, die over niets macht bezit en dengeen, wien wij een grooten voorraad hebben geschonken en die daarvan openlijk en heimelijk aalmoezen geeft; zullen deze beiden gelijk geschat worden? Goddank, neen! Maar het grootste deel der menschen weet het niet.

Dio vi propone per esempio uno schiavo che non dispone di niente, ed un uomo ricco che distribuisce una parte delle sue ricchezze in elemosine tanto in pubblico che in segreto; questi due uomini sono forse eguali? No, grazie a Dio; ma la maggior parte di essi non comprende niente.
