Quran 78:40

We have warned you of a near punishment—the Day when a person will observe what his hands have produced, and the faithless will say, “Oh, I wish I were dust.”

Lo! We warn you of a doom at hand, a day whereon a man will look on that which his own hands have sent before, and the disbeliever will cry: "Would that I were dust!"

Çünkü biz size yakın bir azâbı ıhtar ettik, o gün ki kişi ellerinin ne takdim ettiğine bakacak ve diyecek ki kâfir: ah nolaydı ben bir türâb olaydım.

Nous t’avons averti de la venue prochaine du supplice, Au jour où l’homme verra les œuvres de ses mains, et où l’infidèle s’écriera : Plût à Dieu que je fusse poussière !

Waarlijk, wij bedreigen u met eene straf die nabij ligt. Op den dag waarop de mensch de goede of slechte daden zal aanschouwen, welke zijne handen voor hem uit hebben gezonden, en waarop de on geloovige zal zeggen: God gaf, ik ware stof!

T’abbiamo avvertito della venuta prossima del supplizio, Il giorno in cui l’uomo vedrà le opere delle sue mani, e in cui l’infedele griderà: volesse Dio che io fossi polve!
