Quran 45:8

Who hears Allah’s revelations being recited to him, yet he persists arrogantly, as though he did not hear them. Announce to him a painful punishment.

Who heareth the revelations of Allah recited unto him, and then continueth in pride as though he heard them not. Give him tidings of a painful doom.

Allahın âyetleri karşısında okunurken işitir de sonra kibrinden hiç işitmemiş gibi ısrar eyler, işte onu elîm bir azâb ile müjdele

Qui entend la lecture des enseignements de Dieu, et persévère néanmoins dans l’orgueil, comme s’il ne les entendait pas ! Annonce donc à celui-là un châtiment cruel.

Die de teekens van God hoort, welke hem worden voorgelezen, en daarna trotsch in zijne ongetrouwdheid blijft volharden, al hoorde hij die niet! Bedreig hem met eene pijnlijke straf.

Che ascolta la lettura degl’insegnamenti di Dio, e persevera tuttavia nell’orgoglio come se non gli ascoltasse! Annunzia a colui un gastigo crudele.
