Quran 17:73

They almost lured you away from what We have revealed to you, so that you would invent something else in Our name. In that case, they would have taken you for a friend.

And they indeed strove hard to beguile thee (Muhammad) away from that wherewith We have inspired thee, that thou shouldst invent other than it against Us; and then would they have accepted thee as a friend.

Az daha seni bile, sana vahyettiğimizden gayrısını bize karşı iftira edesin diye, fitneye düşüreceklerdi ve o takdirde seni halîl ittihaz edeceklerdi

Peu s’en est fallu que les infidèles ne t’aient éloigné par leurs tentations de ce que nous t’avons révélé, et ne t’aient porté à nous prêter d’autres révélations. Oh ! alors ils l’auraient regardé comme leur ami.

Het scheelde slechts weinig, of de ongeloovigen hadden u in verzoeking gebracht, u van de vermaningen te verwijderen, welke wij u hebben geopenbaard, opdat gij iets anders omtrent ons zoudt uitdenken, en dan zouden zij u als hunnen vriend hebben beschouwd.

Per poco gl’infedeli non ti hanno allontanato colle lor tentazioni da ciò che ti abbiamo rivelato, e non t’hanno indotto ad attribuirci altre rivelazioni. Allora ti avrebbero considerato come loro amico.
