Quran 98:1

Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture, and the polytheists, were not apart, until the Clear Evidence came to them.

Those who disbelieve among the People of the Scripture and the idolaters could not have left off (erring) till the clear proof came unto them,

Ehl-i kitap ve müşriklerden o küfredenler: infilâk edecek değildi gelinciye kadar kendilerine beyyine.

Les infidèles, parmi ceux qui ont reçu les Écritures, ainsi que les idolâtres, n’ont fait scission que lorsqu’eut apparu le SIGNE ÉVIDENT de la bonté de Dieu,

De ongeloovigen onder hen, aan wie de schriften werden gegeven en onder de afgodendienaars wankelden niet, dan nadat het duidelijke teeken tot hen was gekomen;

Gl’infedeli, fra quei che han ricevuto le Scritture come anche gl’idolatri, non hanno fatto scissione che quando fu apparso il segno evidente (della bontà di Dio),
