Quran 29:10

Among the people is he who says, “We have believed in Allah.” Yet when he is harmed on Allah’s account, he equates the people’s persecution with Allah’s retribution. And if help comes from your Lord, he says, “We were actually with you.” Is not Allah aware of what is inside the hearts of the people?

Of mankind is he who saith: We believe in Allah, but, if he be made to suffer for the sake of Allah, he mistaketh the persecution of mankind for Allah's punishment; and then, if victory cometh from thy Lord, will say: Lo! we were with you (all the while). Is not Allah Best Aware of what is in the bosoms of (His) creatures?

İnsanlar içinde kimi de vardır Allaha iyman ettik der, sonra da Allah uğrunda bir eziyyet edildi mi? İnsanların mihnetini Allahın azâbı gibi tutar, celâlim hakkı için rabbından bir nusrat gelirse cidden biz sizinle beraber idik diyeceklerinde şübhe yoktur, ya Allah bütün alemînin sînelerindekine a'lem değil mi?

Il est des hommes qui disent : Nous croyons ; et quand ils éprouvent quelques souffrances pour la cause de Dieu, ils mettent la persécution des hommes à l’égal du châtiment de Dieu. Que Dieu fasse sentir son appui, ils disent : Nous étions avec vous ; mais Dieu connaît mieux que personne ce que renferment les cœurs des hommes.

Er zijn sommige menschen die zeggen: Wij gelooven in God; maar als zulk een voor Gods zaak wordt beproefd, schat hij de vervolging der menschen even smartelijk, als de straf van God. Als u God eenig voordeel schenkt, zeggen zij: Waarlijk wij zijn met u. Weet God dan niet wat in de borst zijner schepselen schuilt?

Vi sono uomini che dicono: Crediamo; e quando provano qualche sofferenza per la causa di Dio, pongono la persecuzione degli uomini a livello del gastigo di Dio. Se Dio fa conoscere che li protegga, dicono: Noi eravamo con voi; ma Dio conosce meglio di chiunque ciò ch’essi nascondono in cuore.
