Quran 6:25

Among them are those who listen to you; but We place covers over their hearts, to prevent them from understanding it, and heaviness in their ears. Even if they see every sign, they will not believe in it. Until, when they come to you, to argue with you, those who disbelieve will say, “These are nothing but myths of the ancients.”

Of them are some who listen unto thee, but We have placed upon their hearts veils, lest they should understand, and in their ears a deafness. If they saw every token they would not believe therein; to the point that, when they come unto thee to argue with thee, the disbelievers say: This is naught else than fables of the men of old.

İçlerinden kimi de vardır seni Kur'an okurken dinler fakat biz onların kalblerine onu zevkiyle anlamalarına mani' kabuklar geçirmişizdir, kulaklarında da bir ağırlık vardır, her mu'cizeyi görseler de iman etmezler, hattâ sana geldiklerinde seninle cidal yapmağa kalkışarak der ki o hak tanımaz kâfirler: "bu, eskilerin esatirinden başka bir şey değil".

Il en est parmi eux qui viennent écouter ; mais nous avons mis plus d’une enveloppe sur leurs cœurs, afin qu’ils ne comprennent pas le Koran, et de la pesanteur dans leurs oreilles. Quand même ils verraient toutes sortes de miracles, ils ne croiraient pas ; ils viendront même, ces infidèles, te quereller, et diront : Ce Koran n’est qu’un amas de fables des anciens.

Er zijn er onder hen, die luisteren, als gij den Koran leest, maar wij hebben sluiers over hunne harten geworpen, dat zij het niet zouden verstaan, en eene doofheid in hunne ooren; en indien zij zelfs alle soorten van teekens zagen, zouden zij er niet aan gelooven; en hunne ongeloovigheid zal zoo groot worden, dat zij zelfs tot u zullen komen om met u te twisten. De ongeloovigen zullen zeggen: Dit zijn niets anders dan dwaze fabelen uit oude tijden.

Ve ne sono fra essi che vengono ad ascoltarti; ma noi abbiamo posto più d’una invoglia sui loro cuori affinchè non sentano niente, e abbiamo loro ottuso l’udito. Quand’anche vedessero ogni sorta di miracoli non crederebbero, verranno anche gl’increduli a disputare con te, e diranno: Questo Corano è un ammasso di favole degli antichi.
