Quran 39:21

Have you not considered how Allah sends down water from the sky, then He makes it flow into underground wells, then He produces with it plants of various colors, then they wither and you see them yellowing, then He turns them into debris? Surely in this is a reminder for those with understanding.

Hast thou not seen how Allah hath sent down water from the sky and hath caused it to penetrate the earth as watersprings, and afterward thereby produceth crops of divers hues; and afterward they wither and thou seest them turn yellow; then He maketh them chaff. Lo! herein verily is a reminder for men of understanding.

Görmedin mi Allahın Semadan bir su indirip de onu bir yoliyle Arzda menbalara koyduğunu? Sonra onunla bir ekin çıkarır, türlü renklerle, sonra o heyecana gelir, bir de görürsün onu sararmış, sonra da onu bir çöpe çevirir, elbette bunda bir ıhtar var temiz akılları olanlar için

N’as-tu pas vu comment Dieu fait tomber du ciel l’eau, et la conduit aux sources cachées dans les entrailles de la terre ; comment il fait germer les plantes de diverses espèces ; comment il les fait faner et jaunir ; comment epfin il les réduit en brins desséchés ? Certes, il y a dans ceci un avertissement pour les hommes doués de sens.

Ziet gij niet, dat God water van den hemel nederzendt en dit in de aarde doet gaan om er bronnen van te vormen, en daardoor graan (planten) van verschillende soorten voortbrengt? Daarna doet hij die verdorren, en gij ziet haar geel worden; en daarna doet hij die tot stof worden. Waarlijk hierin is eene onderrichting voor mannen van verstand.

Non hai tu visto come Dio fa cader l’acqua dal cielo, e la conduce nelle sorgenti nascoste nelle viscere della terra; come fa germogliare le piante di diverse specie; come le fa appassire e divenir gialle; come infine le riduce in steli secchi? Certamente v’è in ciò un avvertimento per gli uomini intelligenti.
