Quran 12:10

One of them said, “Do not kill Joseph, but throw him into the bottom of the well; some caravan may pick him up—if you must do something.”

One among them said: Kill not Joseph but, if ye must be doing, fling him into the depth of the pit; some caravan will find him.

İçlerinden bir söz sahibi, Yusüfü, dedi öldürmeyin de bir kuyu dibinde bırakın ki kafilenin biri onu lekît olarak alsın, eğer yapacaksanız böyle yapın

L’un d’entre eux dit alors : ne mettez pas à mort Joseph, jetez-le plutôt au fond d’un puits ; quelque voyageur surviendra et le recueillera ; si toutefois vous voulez faire quelque chose.

Een van hen sprak en zeide: Doodt Jozef niet en laat hem tot op den bodem van den put neder; en een of ander reiziger zal hem ophalen, indien gij dit niet doet.

Uno di loro disse allora: Non date la morte a Giuseppe, gettatelo piuttosto in fondo ad un pozzo, se volete assolutamente farvene; qualche viandante passerà, e lo raccorrà.
