Quran 34:45

Those before them also denied the truth, yet they have not attained one-tenth of what We had given them. They rejected My messengers, so how was My disapproval?

Those before them denied, and these have not attained a tithe of that which We bestowed on them (of old); yet they denied My messengers. How intense then was My abhorrence (of them)!

Onlardan evvelkiler de tekzib etmişlerdi, hem bunlar onlara verdiklerimizin onda birine ermediler, Resullerimizi tekzib ettiler de nasıl oldu inkârım?

Ceux qui les ont précédés traiteront nos envoyés d’imposteurs. Ceux-ci n’ont point obtenu le dixième de ce que nous avions accordé aux autres, et ils ont traité également nos envoyés d’imposteurs. Que mon châtiment a été terrible)

Zij die vóór hen waren, beschuldigden hunnen profeet op dezelfde wijze van bedrog; maar deze verkregen niet het tiende gedeelte der rijkdommen en der sterkte welke wij aan de anderen schonken, en zij beschuldigden mijne gezanten van valschheid. Hoe gestreng was echter mijne kastijding.

Quei che li hanno preceduti accusarono i nostri inviati d’impostura. Essi non hanno ottenuto il decimo di ciò ch’avevamo accordato agli altri, ed hanno egualmente accusati i nostr’inviati d’impostura. Quanto è stato terribile il mio gastigo!
