Quran 34:23

Intercession with Him is of no value, except for someone He has permitted. Until, when fear has subsided from their hearts, they will say, “What did your Lord say?” They will say, “The truth, and He is the High, the Great.”

No intercession availeth with Him save for him whom He permitteth. Yet, when fear is banished from their hearts, they say: What was it that your Lord said? They say: The Truth. And He is the Sublime, the Great.

L’intercession de qui que ce soit ne servira de rien, sauf à celui à qui Dieu le permettra. Ils attendront jusqu’au moment où la crainte sera bannie de leurs cœurs. Ils diront alors : Qu’est-ce que Dieu a dit ? On leur répondra : La vérité. Il est le Sublime, le Grand.

In zijne tegenwoordigheid zal geene voorspraak van dienst wezen, behalve de bemiddeling van hem, aan wien God verlof zal geven om voor anderen tusschen beiden te treden. Zij zullen afwachten tot de schrik van hunne harten zal zijn weggenomen, en zij tot elkander zullen zeggen: Wat zegt uw Heer? Zij zullen antwoorden: Dat wat rechtvaardig is. Hij is de verhevene, de groote God.

L’intercessione di chiunque non servirà a nulla, a meno ch’egli ne dia il permesso. Aspetteranno fino al momento in cui il timore sarà bandito dai loro cuori. Diranno allora: Che cosa Dio ha detto? Si risponderà loro: La verità. Egli è il Sublime, il Grande.
