Quran 5:42

Listeners to falsehoods, eaters of illicit earnings. If they come to you, judge between them, or turn away from them. If you turn away from them, they will not harm you in the least. But if you judge, judge between them equitably. Allah loves the equitable.

Listeners for the sake of falsehood! Greedy for illicit gain! If then they have recourse unto thee (Muhammad) judge between them or disclaim jurisdiction. If thou disclaimest jurisdiction, then they cannot harm thee at all. But if thou judgest, judge between them with equity. Lo! Allah loveth the equitable.

Boyuna yalancılık için dinlerler, boyuna haram yerler, artık sana gelirlerse ister aralarında hükmet, ister kendilerinden yüz çevir, eğer yüz çevirirsen sana hiç bir zarar edemezler, şayed hükmedersen aralarında adaletle hükmet, çünkü Allah adalet edenleri sever.

Ils prêtent avidement l’oreille aux mensonges, ils dévorent avec avidité ce qui est illicite. S’ils ont recours à ton jugement, prononce entre eux ou abstiens-toi. Si tu t’abstiens, ils ne pourront te nuire ; mais, si tu te charges de juger, juge-les avec équité, car Dieu aime ceux qui jugent avec équité ;

Zij leenen het oor aan de leugens en eten wat verboden is. Maar indien zij tot u komen, om door u gericht te worden, richt dan tusschen hen, of verlaat hen, en indien gij hen verlaat, zullen zij u volstrekt niet deren. Maar indien gij aanneemt te richten, richt dan tusschen hen met rechtvaardigheid; want God bemint hen, die de rechtvaardigheid in acht nemen.

Essi sentono avidamente le menzogne, e cercano i cibi vietati. Se reclamano il tuo giudizio, pronuncialo, o ricusalo. Se lo ricusi non potranno nuocerti, ma se ne assumi l’incarico, giudicali con equità, giacchè Dio ama coloro che giudicano con equità.
