And keep vigil with it during parts of the night, as an extra prayer. Perhaps your Lord will raise you to a laudable position.

And some part of the night awake for it, a largess for thee. It may be that thy Lord will raise thee to a praised estate.

Et dans la nuit, consacre tes veilles à la prière. Ce sera pour toi une œuvre surérogatoire. Il se peut que Dieu t’élève dans ces veilles une place glorieuse.

En besteed ook een deel van den nacht aan het gebed, als een onverplicht werk voor u: misschien zal uw Heer u tot een eervolle plaats oproepen.
