Quran 17:60

We said to you that your Lord encompasses humanity. We did not make the vision We showed you, except as a test for the people, and the tree cursed in the Quran. We frighten them, but that only increases their defiance.

And (it was a warning) when we told thee: Lo! thy Lord encompasseth mankind, and We appointed the sight which We showed thee as an ordeal for mankind, and (likewise) the Accursed Tree in the Qur'an. We warn them, but it increaseth them in naught save gross impiety.

Ve unutma ki vaktiyle sana haberin olsun ki, dedik: rabbın o insanları ihata etmiştir, o sana gösterdiğimiz temaşayı ve Kur'anda lâ'net edilen ağacı da sırf insanlara bir imtihan için yapmışızdır, biz onları tehdid ediyoruz, o onlara büyük bir tuğyan artırmaktan başka netice vermiyor

Souviens-toi que nous avons dit : Dieu environne les hommes de tous côtés. Nous ne t’avons accordé la vision que tu as eue, nous ne t’avons fait voir cet arbre maudit dans le Koran, que pour jeter au milieu des hommes un sujet de discorde. Nous les intimidons, mais cela ne fera qu’accroitre leur grande rébellion.

Gedenk toen wij tot u zeiden: Waarlijk, uw Heer omringt de menschen door zijne kennis en macht. Wij hebben het visioen bepaald, hetwelk wij u toonden, en ook den boom, dien wij in den Koran hebben gevloekt, alleen tot eene aanleiding van twist voor de menschen, en om hen met angst te slaan, maar dit zal hen slechts met meer weerspannigheid doen zondigen.

Rammentati che t’abbiam detto: Dio circonda gli uomini da tutte le parti. Non t’abbiamo accordata la visione che hai avuta, non t’abbiamo fatto vedere quell’albero maledetto nel Corano, che per dare agli uomini un soggetto di discordia. Noi li intimoriamo, ma ciò non farà che accrescere la loro gran ribellione.
