Quran 3:183

Those who said, “Allah has made a covenant with us, that we shall not believe in any messenger unless he brings us an offering to be consumed by fire.” Say, “Messengers have come to you before me with proofs, and with what you asked for; so why did you assassinate them, if you are truthful?”

(The same are) those who say: Lo! Allah hath charged us that we believe not in any messenger until he bring us an offering which fire (from heaven) shall devour. Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Messengers came unto you before me with miracles, and with that (very miracle) which ye describe. Why then did ye slay them? (Answer that) if ye are truthful!

Onlar ki "Allah dediler: bize şöyle and verdi: bize ateşin yiyeceği bir kurban getirinceye kadar hiç bir Resul’e iman etmiyeceğiz" de ki size benden evvel bir takım Resuller beyyinelerle gelmiş ve o dediğinizi de getirmiş idi ya onları niçin katlettiniz doğru iseniz?

À ceux qui disent : Dieu nous a promis que nous ne serons tenus de croire à un prophète, que lorsque ce prophète présentera une offrande que le feu du ciel consumera aussitôt. Réponds : Il vous est venu avant moi des prophètes qui ont fait des miracles, et même celui dont vous parlez ; pourquoi donc les avez-vous tués ? dites-le, si vous êtes véridiques.

Anderen zeggen: God heeft ons beloofd, dat wij geen gezant zouden moeten gelooven, dan alleen indien hij met een offer tot ons komt, dat dadelijk door het vuur verteerd wordt. Antwoord: Reeds vóór mij zijn gezanten gekomen met duidelijke bewijzen en met het wonder waarvan hij spreekt: waarom hebt gij hen dan gedood, indien gij waarheidlievende menschen zijt?

A quelli che dicono: Dio ci ha promesso che non saremo obbligati di credere ad un profeta se non quando presenterà un’offerta che il fuoco del cielo consumi. Rispondi: Prima di me avevate de’ profeti che hanno operato miracoli, ed anche quello di cui parlate; perchè dunque li avete uccisi? ditelo se siete veridici.
