Quran 3:13

There was a sign for you in the two parties that met. One party fighting in the way of Allah, and the other was disbelieving. They saw them with their own eyes twice their number. But Allah supports with His help whomever He wills. In that is a lesson for those with insight.

There was a token for you in two hosts which met: one army fighting in the way of Allah, and another disbelieving, whom they saw as twice their number, clearly, with their very eyes. Thus Allah strengtheneth with His succour whom He will. Lo! herein verily is a lesson for those who have eyes.

Muhakkak bir âyet oldu size: Çarpışan iki cemi'yette: Bir cemiyet Allah yolunda vuruşuyordu, diğeri de kâfir: Onları gözgöre kendilerinin iki misli görüyorlardı, Allah da nusratiyle dilediğini te'yid buyuruyordu, görecek gözleri olanlar için elbette bunda şüphesiz bir ibret var.

Dans ces deux troupes qui en vinrent aux mains, l’une combattant dans la voie de Dieu, l’autre infidèle, il y avait un signe pour vous. Les infidèles semblaient voir de leurs yeux deux fois autant d’ennemis ; mais c’est Dieu qui appuyait de son secours celui qu’il voulait. Certes il y avait dans ceci un avertissement pour les hommes clairvoyants.

Gij hebt reeds een wonder gezien in deze twee legers, die op elkander stieten; de eene schaar kampte voor des Heeren godsdienst, de andere was ongeloovig. De eene hield de andere voor twee malen zoo sterk als zich zelve; want God sterkt met zijne hulp wien Hij wil. Waarlijk, daarin was een voorbeeld voor verstandige menschen.

In quelle due schiere che vennero alle mani, l’una combattendo nella via di Dio, l’altra infedele, vi era un segno (miracolo) per voi. Sembrava agli infedeli di vedere coi propri occhi il doppio de’ nemici, ma Dio soccorreva chi voleva. In verità vi era in questo un avvertimento per le persone che vedevano chiaro.
