Quran 22:73

O people! A parable is presented, so listen to it: Those you invoke besides Allah will never create a fly, even if they banded together for that purpose. And if the fly steals anything from them, they cannot recover it from it. Weak are the pursuer and the pursued.

O mankind! A similitude is coined, so pay ye heed to it: Lo! those on whom ye call beside Allah will never create a fly though they combine together for the purpose. And if the fly took something from them, they could not rescue it from it. So weak are (both) the seeker and the sought!

Ey insanlar! bir mesel darbedildi, şimdi ona iyi kulak verin, haberiniz olsun ki sizin Allahdan başka taptıklarınız bir sinek yaratamazlar, hepsi onun için toplansalar bile, ve şayed sinek onlardan bir şey kaparsa onu ondan kurtaramazlar, tâlib de zaıyf matlûb da

O hommes ! on vous propose une parabole ; écoutez-là. Ceux que vous invoquez à côté de Dieu ne sauront créer une mouche, quand même ils se réuniraient tous ; et si une mouche venait leur enlever quelque objet, ils ne sauraient le lui arracher. L’adoré et l’adorateur sont également impuissants.

O menschen! er wordt u eene vergelijking voorgesteld: luistert er dus naar. Waarlijk, de afgoden, welke gij naast God aanroept, kunnen zelfs geene eenvoudige vlieg scheppen, al waren zij ook allen tot dat doel vergaderd; en indien eene vlieg hun iets ontneemt, kunnen zij het haar niet ontrukken. De aangebedene en de aanbidder zijn beiden onmachtig.

O uomini! vi si propone una parabola; ascoltatela. Quei che voi invocate a fianco di Dio non potrebbero creare una mosca, quand’anche si riunissero tutti; e se una mosca venisse a torre loro un qualche oggetto essi non potrebbero ritorglielo. L’adorato, e l’adoratore sono egualmente impotenti.
