Quran 25:60

And when it is said to them, “Bow down to the Merciful,” they say, “And what is the Merciful? Are we to bow down to whatever you command us?” And it increases their aversion.

And when it is said unto them: Prostrate to the Beneficent! they say: And what is the Beneficent? Are we to prostrate to whatever thou (Muhammad) biddest us? And it increaseth aversion in them.

Maamafih «Rahmâna secde edin» denildiği vkıt onlara «Rahmân ne imiş? Bize emrediyorsun diye secde mi ederiz?» dediler ve daha ziyade vahşetlerini artırdı

Quand on leur dit (aux infidèles) : Prosternez-vous devant le Miséricordieux, ils demandent : Qui est le Miséricordieux ? Nous prosternerons-nous devant ce que tu nous dis ? Et leur éloignement s’en accroît.

Als den ongeloovige wordt gezegd: Aanbidt den Genadige! hernemen zij: En wie is de Genadige? Zullen wij aanbidden wat gij ons beveelt? En dit voorschrift doet hen het geloof nog meer ontvluchten.

Quando si dice loro (agl’infedeli): Prostratevi dinanzi al Misericordioso, domandano: Chi è il Misericordioso? E dovrem noi prostrarci dinanzi a ciò che ci dici? Ed il loro allontanamento s’accresce.
