Quran 2:54

And recall that Moses said to his people, “O my people, you have done wrong to yourselves by worshiping the calf. So repent to your Maker, and kill your egos. That would be better for you with your Maker.” So He turned to you in repentance. He is the Accepter of Repentance, the Merciful.

And when Moses said unto his people: O my people! Ye have wronged yourselves by your choosing of the calf (for worship) so turn in penitence to your Creator, and kill (the guilty) yourselves. That will be best for you with your Creator and He will relent toward you. Lo! He is the Relenting, the Merciful.

Ve bir vakit Musa kavmine dedi ki: «Ey kavmim cidden siz o danaya tutulmanızla kendinize zulmettiniz gelin bârinize dönün, tevbe edin de nefislerinizi öldürün, böyle yapmanız bâriniz yanında sizin için hayırlıdır» bu suretle tevbenizi kabul buyurdu. Filhakika o, öyle tevvab öyle rahîmdir

Moïse dit à son peuple : Vous avez agi iniquement envers vous-mêmes en adorant le veau. Revenez à votre créateur, ou bien donnez-vous la mort ; ceci vous servira mieux auprès de lui. Il reviendra à vous (il vous pardonnera), car il aime à revenir vers celui qui se repent ; il est miséricordieux.

Mozes zeide tot zijn volk: Gij hebt uwe zielen door dit kalf verontreinigd, keert tot uwen Schepper terug of doodt u zelven; dit zal uwen Schepper welgevalliger zijn. Hij zal zich weder tot u wenden; want Hij is vergevensgezind en albarmhartig.

Mosè disse al suo popolo: Voi avete agito iniquamente verso voi stessi, adorando il vitello. Ritornate al vostro Creatore, ovvero datevi la morte; ciò vi farà meritare più verso di lui. Egli vi perdonerà, giacchè ama di pacificarsi coll’uomo convertito, ed è misericordioso.
