Quran 2:165

Yet among the people are those who take other than Allah as equals to Him. They love them as the love of Allah. But those who believe have greater love for Allah. If only the wrongdoers would realize, when they see the torment; that all power is Allah’s, and that Allah is severe in punishment.

Yet of mankind are some who take unto themselves (objects of worship which they set as) rivals to Allah, loving them with a love like (that which is the due) of Allah (only) - those who believe are stauncher in their love for Allah - Oh, that those who do evil had but known, (on the day) when they behold the doom, that power belongeth wholly to Allah, and that Allah is severe in punishment!

İnsanlardan kimi de Allahdan beride bir takım sınarlar ediniyorlar da onları Allah sever gibi seviyorlar, iman edenler ise Allah için sevgice daha kuvvetlidirler, görselerdi o zulmu edenler: azabı görecekleri vakit hakikaten kuvvet bütün kuvvet Allahındır ve hakikaten Allah çok şedid azablıdır

Il est des hommes qui placent à côté de Dieu des associés qu’ils aiment à l’égal de Dieu ; mais ceux qui croient aiment Dieu par-dessus tout. Oh ! Les impies reconnaîtront, au moment du châtiment, qu’il n’y a d’autre puissance que celle de Dieu, et que Dieu est terrible dans ses châtiments.

Toch zijn er nog menschen, die afgoden naast God plaatsen, en deze beminnen, zooals men slechts God moet beminnen; maar zij die gelooven, beminnen God nog inniger. O mochten de ongeloovigen, wanneer de straf hen bereikt, het inzien, dat God alleen alle macht is, en dat Hij streng in zijne straffen is.

Vi sono degli uomini che collocano a fianco di Dio degli esseri che amano come Dio; ma quelli che credono, amano Dio sopra tutto. Oh! gli empj riconosceranno, nel momento del gastigo, che non vi è altra potenza che quella di Dio, e che egli è terribile nei suoi gastighi.
