Quran 7:95

Then We substituted prosperity in place of hardship. Until they increased in number, and said, “Adversity and prosperity has touched our ancestors.” Then We seized them suddenly, while they were unaware.

Then changed We the evil plight for good till they grew affluent and said: Tribulation and distress did touch our fathers. Then We seized them unawares, when they perceived not.

Sonra da fenalık yerine güzelliğe tebdil etmişizdir, tâki artmışlar ve demişlerdir: Doğrusu atalarımıza sıkıntılı haller de olmuş, sürûrlü demler de, tam o vakit biz de kendilerini hatırlarından geçmezken ansızın tutmuş bastırıvermişlerdir

Ensuite nous changeâmes le mal en bien (les malheurs en prospérité) en sorte qu’effaçant tout dans leur mémoire, ils se mirent à dire : Le bonheur et le malheur arrivaient aussi à nos pères. Puis soudain nous les saisîmes de châtiments au moment où ils n’y songeaient pas.

En wij gaven hun goed voor kwaad in ruil, tot zij, alles in hun geheugen uitwisschende, zeiden: Tegenspoed en voorspoed kwam ook vroeger over onze vaderen. Daarom namen wij plotseling wraak op hen, op het oogenblik dat zij er niet aan dachten.

Cambiammo quindi la prosperità con le disgrazie, al punto che dicevano, scordando tutto: La fortuna, e la disgrazia, visitavano anche i nostri padri. Poi all’improviso li colpimmo di gastighi quando non vi pensavano.
