Quran 6:6

Have they not considered how many generations We destroyed before them? We had established them on earth more firmly than We established you, and We sent the clouds pouring down abundant rain on them, and We made rivers flow beneath them. But We destroyed them for their sins, and established other civilizations after them.

See they not how many a generation We destroyed before them, whom We had established in the earth more firmly than We have established you, and We shed on them abundant showers from the sky, and made the rivers flow beneath them. Yet we destroyed them for their sins, and created after them another generation.

Görmediler mi önlerinde kaç karın helâk ettik, bu yerde onlara size vermediklerimizi vermiştik ve üzerlerine Semâyı bol bol salıvermiştik, ırmakları ayaklarının altından akar bir hale getirmiştik, öyle iken onları günahlarıyle helâk ettik de arkalarından yeni bir karın olarak başkalarına neşet verdik.

Ne voient-ils pas combien de générations nous avons anéanties avant eux ? Nous les avions établies dans le pays plus solidement que vous : Nous fîmes tomber du ciel des pluies abondantes ; nous fîmes couler des rivières sons leurs pieds ; puis nous les anéantîmes pour leurs péchés, et nous fîmes surgir à leur place une génération nouvelle.

Hebben zij niet opgemerkt, hoe vele geslachten wij vóór hen hebben vernietigd. Wij hebben hen op de aarde geplaatst op eene wijze zooals wij u niet hebben geplaatst. Wij hebben den hemel gezonden om overvloed op hen te doen regenen, en gaven hun rivieren, die onder hunnen voet stroomden; daarna hebben wij hen om hunne zonden vernietigd, en hebben andere geslachten na hen doen opstaan.

Non veggono forse quante generazioni abbiamo distrutte prima di loro? Le avevamo stabilite nel paese più solidamente di voi; facemmo cadere dal Cielo pioggie abbondanti; facemmo scorrere dei fiumi ai loro piedi: poi gli annientammo per i loro peccati e facemmo nascere al loro posto una nuova generazione.
