Quran 6:35

If you find their rejection hard to bear, then if you can, seek a tunnel into the earth, or a stairway into the heaven, and bring them a sign. Had Allah willed, He could have gathered them to guidance. So do not be of the ignorant.

And if their aversion is grievous unto thee, then, if thou canst, seek a way down into the earth or a ladder unto the sky that thou mayst bring unto them a portent (to convince them all)! - If Allah willed, He could have brought them all together to the guidance - So be not thou among the foolish ones.

Eğer onların omuz dönmelerini sana pek ağır geliyorsa haydi kendi kendine yerin dibine inecek bir baca veya göklere çıkacak bir merdiven arayıp da onlara bambaşka bir âyet getirmeğe gücün yettiği takdirde hiç durma, Allah dilemiş olsa idi elbette onları hidayet üzre toplardı o halde sakın cahillerden olma.

L’éloignement des infidèles pour la vérité te pèse ; certes, si tu le pouvais, tu désirerais pratiquer un creux dans la terre, ou une échelle pour monter au ciel, pour en tirer quelque miracle pour eux. Si Dieu voulait, ils se réuniraient tous dans la direction du chemin droit. Ne sois donc pas du nombre des ignorants.

Indien hun afkeer u grieft, indien gij een holte kondet opzoeken, waardoor gij tot het binnenste der aarde zoudt kunnen doordringen, of eene ladder, waardoor gij tot in den hemel zoudt kunnen opklimmen, om hun een teeken te kunnen toonen, dan zoudt gij het doen; doch uwe pogingen zouden vruchteloos zijn; want indien het Gode behaagde, zou hij hen allen in de ware richting kunnen leiden; wees dus geen der onwetenden.

L’allontanamento degl’infedeli per la verità ti pesa; certamente se tu lo potessi, desidereresti fare una grotta sotto terra, od una scala per salire al cielo, per far loro vedere qualche miracolo. Se Dio volesse, si riunirebbero tutti nella direzione della via retta. Non sii dunque nel numero degl’ignoranti.
