Quran 12:67

And he said, “O my sons, do not enter by one gate, but enter by different gates. I cannot avail you anything against Allah. The decision rests only with Allah. On Him I rely, and on Him let the reliant rely.”

And he said: O my sons! Go not in by one gate; go in by different gates. I can naught avail you as against Allah. Lo! the decision rests with Allah only. In Him do I put my trust, and in Him let all the trusting put their trust.

Ey yavrularım! Dedi: bir kapıdan girmeyin de ayrı ayrı kapılardan girin, maamafih ne yapsam sizden hiç bir şeyde Allahın takdirini def'edemem, huküm ancak Allahındır, ben ona tevekkül kıldım ve hep ona tevekkül etmelidir onun için bütün mütevekkiller

Puis il leur dit : O mes enfants !en arrivant en Égypte, n’entrez point tous par une seule porte, mais par plusieurs à la fois ; toutefois je ne saurais rien faire pour vous contre les décrets de Dieu, car le pouvoir suprême appartient à Dieu. Je mets ma confiance en lui, et c’est en lui que mettent leur confiance les hommes qui se résignent :

En hij zeide: Mijne zonen treedt de stad niet allen door ééne poort binnen, maar gaat door verschillende poorten binnen. Doch deze voorzorg zal u niet tot voordeel strekken tegen Gods besluit; want het oordeel behoort Gode alleen: in hem stel ik mijn vertrouwen, en laat hen, die zoeken onderworpen te zijn, dit in hem stellen.

Poi disse loro: Figli miei! non entrate tutti da una sola porta (arrivando in Egitto) ma per diverse; questa precauzione però non vi servirà a nulla contro i decreti di Dio, poichè il potere supremo appartiene a Dio. lo ripongo la mia fiducia in lui, ed è in esso che mettono la lor fiducia quei che si rassegnano.
