Quran 10:5

It is He who made the sun radiant, and the moon a light, and determined phases for it—that you may know the number of years and the calculation. Allah did not create all this except with truth. He details the revelations for a people who know.

He it is Who appointed the sun a splendour and the moon a light, and measured for her stages, that ye might know the number of the years, and the reckoning. Allah created not (all) that save in truth. He detaileth the revelations for people who have knowledge.

O, odur ki Güneşi bir zıyâ yaptı Kameri bir nur ve buna menzil menzil mıktarlar ta'yin buyurdu ki senelerin adedini ve hisabı bilesiniz, Allah, bunu ancak hak hikmet ile yarattı, bilecek bir kavm için âyetleri tafsıl ediyor

C’est lui qui a établi le soleil pour répandre la clarté et la lune pour donner la lumière, qui a détermine les phases de celle-ci afin que vous connaissiez le nombre des années et leur comput. Dieu n’a point créé tout cela en vain, mais dans un but sérieux ; il explique ses signes à ceux qui comprennent.

Hij is het die de zon bevolen heeft des daags te schijnen en de maan als een licht bij nacht. Hij heeft hare standpunten bepaald, opdat gij het getal jaren zoudt kennen en de berekeningen van den tijd. God heeft dit niet zonder doel, maar met waarheid geschapen. Hij legt zijne teekens hun uit, die begrijpen.

Egli ha dato il sole per la chiarezza, e la luna per la luce, ed ha determinato lo fasi di questa perchè conosciate il numero degli anni, ed il loro computo. Dio non ha creato tutto ciò inutilmente, ma con uno scopo positivo: egli spiega i suoi segni a quei che comprendono.
