Quran 9:38

O you who believe! What is the matter with you, when it is said to you, “Mobilize in the cause of Allah,” you cling heavily to the earth? Do you prefer the present life to the Hereafter? The enjoyment of the present life, compared to the Hereafter, is only a little.

O ye who believe! What aileth you that when it is said unto you: Go forth in the way of Allah, ye are bowed down to the ground with heaviness. Take ye pleasure in the life of the world rather than in the Hereafter? The comfort of the life of the world is but little in the Hereafter.

Ey o bütün iyman edenler! Ne oldu ki size Allah yolunda seferber olun denilince yerinize yığıldınız kaldınız yoksa Âhıretten geçib Dünya hayata razı mı oldunuz? Fakat o Dünya hayatın zevkı Âhıretin yanında ancak pek az bir şey

O croyants ! Qu’avez-vous donc, lorsqu’au moment où l’on vous a dit : Allez combattre dans le sentier de Dieu, vous vous êtes montrés lourds et comme attachés à la terre ? Vous avez préféré la vie de ce monde à la vie future ; les jouissances d’ici-bas sont bien peu de chose, comparées à la vie future.

O ware geloovigen! wat scheelde u, dat, toen men u zeide: vertrekt, om voor Gods eeredienst te strijden, gij u als bewaard ter aarde hebt gebogen? Verkiest gij het tegenwoordige leven boven het volgende? Maar de genietingen van dit leven zijn slechts onbeduidend in vergelijking met die van het volgende.

O credenti che avevate mai quando vi è stato detto: andate a combattere nel sentiere di Dio, vi siete mostrati pesanti, e come attaccati alla terra? Avete preferito la vita di questo mondo a quella futura; i godimenti di quaggiù sono ben poca cosa in confronto della vita futura.
