Quran 9:114

Abraham asked forgiveness for his father only because of a promise he had made to him. But when it became clear to him that he was an enemy of Allah, he disowned him. Abraham was kind and clement.

The prayer of Abraham for the forgiveness of his father was only because of a promise he had promised him, but when it had become clear unto him that he (his father) was an enemy to Allah he (Abraham) disowned him. Lo! Abraham was soft of heart, long-suffering.

İbrahimin babası hakkındaki istiğfarı da sırf ona vermiş olduğu bir va'dden dolayı idi, böyle iken onun için Allah düşmanı olduğu kendisine tebeyyün edince ondan teberri etti, her halde İbrahim çok yanık, çok halîm idi

Abraham n’implora le pardon de Dieu pour son père que parce qu’il le lui avait promis ; mais quand il lui fut démontré que son père était l’ennemi de Dieu, il ne voulut plus s’en mêler, et pourtant Abraham était compatissant et humain.

Ook Abraham vroeg geene vergiffenis voor zijn vader, anders dan ter voldoening eener belofte, welke hij hem had gedaan; maar toen het hem bekend werd, dat deze een vijand van God was, onttrok hij zich daaraan, en waarlijk, Abraham was meêdoogend en menschelijk.

Abramo non implorò il perdono di Dio per suo padre se non perchè glielo avea promesso; ma quando gli fu dimostrato che suo padre era nemico di Dio se ne astenne, e pure Abramo era compassionevole, ed umano.
