Quran 34:9

Do they not reflect upon what lies before them and behind them, of the heaven and the earth? If We will, We can make the earth cave in beneath them, or make pieces of the sky fall down on them. In that is a sign for every devout servant.

Have they not observed what is before them and what is behind them of the sky and the earth? If We will, We can make the earth swallow them, or cause obliteration from the sky to fall on them. Lo! herein surely is a portent for every slave who turneth (to Allah) repentant.

Ya Gökten ve Yerden önlerindekine ve arkalarındakine bir bakmazlar mı? Dilersek kendilerini Yere geçiriveririz, yâhud Gökten üzerlerine parçalar düşürüveririz hakıkaten onda inâbe edecek (hakka gönül verecek) bir kul için şübhesiz bir âyet vardır

Ne voient-ils pas ce qui est devant eux et derrière eux ? le ciel et la terre ? Si nous voulions, nous pourrions les faire engloutir par la terre entr’ouverte, ou faire tomber sur leurs têtes un fragment du ciel. Dans ceci il y a un signe pour tout serviteur de Dieu capable de se convertir.

Hebben zij dus niet overwogen, wat voor hen is en wat achter hen is, van den hemel en de aarde? Indien het ons behaagt, zullen wij de aarde zich doen openen en hen verzwelgen, en zullen wij een deel des hemels op hen doen nedervallen; waarlijk hierin is een teeken voor iederen dienaar, die zich tot God keert.

Non veggon essi ciò che loro sta innanzi, e dietro? il cielo, e la terra? Se noi volessimo, potremmo farli inghiottire dalla terra, o far cadere sui loro capi un pezzo di cielo. In ciò v’è un segno per ogn’uomo capace di convertirsi.
