Quran 28:29

When Moses had completed the term, and departed with his family, he noticed a fire by the side of the Mount. He said to his family, “Stay here, I have glimpsed a fire. Perhaps I can bring you some information from there, or an ember from the fire, that you may warm yourselves.”

Then, when Moses had fulfilled the term, and was travelling with his housefolk, he saw in the distance a fire and said unto his housefolk: Bide ye (here). Lo! I see in the distance a fire; peradventure I shall bring you tidings thence, or a brand from the fire that ye may warm yourselves.

Lorsque Moïse eut accompli, au service de son beau-père, un certain temps, il partit avec sa famille. Tout d’un coup il aperçut du feu du côté de la montagne, et dit à sa famille : Attendez ici un instant, j’ai aperçu du feu ; j’irai pour vous en donner des nouvelles, ou je vous en apporterai un tison ardent pour vous réchauffer.

En toen Mozes den bepaalden tijd had bereikt, en met zijn gezin naar Egypte reisde, zag hij vuur aan de zijde van den berg Sinaï. En hij zeide tot zijn gezin: Blijft gij hier; want ik zie vuur: misschien kan ik eenige tijding van den weg brengen, of wel een stuk brandend hout van het vuur, opdat gij verwarmd zoudt mogen worden.

Quando Mosè ebbe compito un certo tempo al servizio del suo suocero, parti colla sua famiglia. Tutto ad un tratto vide un fuoco dalla parte della montagna, e disse: Attendete qui un istante, ho veduto un fuoco; vado per recarvene le nuove, o vi recherò un tizzo per riscaldarvi.
