Quran 4:73

But when some bounty from Allah comes to you, he says—as if no affection existed between you and him—“If only I had been with them, I would have achieved a great victory.”

And if a bounty from Allah befell you, he would surely cry, as if there had been no love between you and him: Oh, would that I had been with them, then should I have achieved a great success!

Ve eğer size Allah’dan bir fazl nasîb olursa sanki kendisiyle aranızda hiç bir ülfet olmamış gibi mutlak diyecektir ki "ah, olaydım onlarla beraber olaydım da büyük bir murada ereydim!

S’il vous arrive une faveur de Dieu, qui vous donne la victoire, il dira (comme si aucune amitié n’existait entre vous et lui) : Plût à Dieu que j’eusse combattu avec eux ! J’aurais emporté un riche butin.

Maar indien God u voorspoed geeft, zal hij zeggen (als was er geene vriendschap tusschen u en en hem: God gave, dat ik met hen ware geweest; ik zou groote verdienste hebben verworven.

Se Dio vi accorderà la vittoria, dirà (come se non foste amici): Volesse Dio che avessi combattuto insieme a loro; avrei riportato un ricco bottino!
