Quran 4:42

On that Day, those who disbelieved and disobeyed the Messenger will wish that the earth were leveled over them. They will conceal nothing from Allah.

İşte o gün öyle arzu edecek o küfredip peygambere asî olanlar ki keşke hâk ile yeksan edilselerdi de Allah’a bir sözü ketmetmeselerdi.

Que feront les méchants, lorsque nous rassemblerons contre eux les témoins de toutes les nations, lorsque nous invoquerons contre eux ton propre témoignage, Ô Mohammed ! Dans ce jour terrible, les infidèles et ceux qui ont été rebelles au prophète aimeraient mieux que la terre fût à leur niveau et les dérobât à la vue de tous. Mais ils ne sauront cacher la chose à Dieu.

Wat zullen de ongeloovigen doen, wanneer wij een getuige uit ieder volk tegen hen zullen brengen, o Mahomet! en uwe eigene getuigenis tegen hen zullen inroepen. Op dien dag zullen zij, die niet geloofd hebben en wederspannig jegens den profeet zijn geweest, veeleer willen, dat de aarde hen had verzwolgen. Maar zij zullen zich op geenerlei wijze voor God kunnen verbergen.

Che faranno i cattivi, quando riuniremo contr’essi testimoni di tutte nazioni, quando invocheremo contr’essi la tua propria testimonianza? In quel giorno terribile, gl’infedeli, e quei che sono stati ribelli al profeta, desidererebbero che la terra fosse al loro livello, e li nascondesse alla vista di tutti. Ma non sapranno nascondere alcuna loro azione agli occhi dell’Eterno.
