Quran 4:18

But repentance is not available for those who commit evils, until when death approaches one of them, he says, “Now I repent,” nor for those who die as disbelievers. These—We have prepared for them a painful torment.

The forgiveness is not for those who do ill-deeds until, when death attendeth upon one of them, he saith: Lo! I repent now; nor yet for those who die while they are disbelievers. For such We have prepared a painful doom.

Yoksa kabahatleri yapıp yapıp da tâ her birine ölüm gelince işte ben şimdi tevbe ettim diyen kimselere tevbe yok, kâfir oldukları halde ölenlere de yok, bunlar işte bunlara biz elîm bir azab hazırlamışızdır.

Le repentir n’est d’aucune utilité à celui qui commet constamment les mauvaises actions, et qui s’écrie, à rapproche de la mort : Je me repens. Il n’est d’aucune utilité à ceux qui meurent infidèles. Nous avons préparé pour ceux-ci un châtiment douloureux.

Maar er is geene verzoening voor hen, die het booze doen tot de dood hen treft, en dan eerst zeggen: Ik heb berouw; ook voor hen niet die als ongeloovigen sterven. Voor dezen hebben wij een strenge straf bepaald.

Il pentimento non giova altrimenti a colui che è costante nelle cattive azioni, e che, all’avvicinar della morte, grida: Mi pento. Non giova neppure a coloro che muojono infedeli. Noi abbiamo preparato per questi un gastigo doloroso.
