Quran 60:10

O you who believe! When believing women come to you emigrating, test them. Allah is Aware of their faith. And if you find them to be faithful, do not send them back to the unbelievers. They are not lawful for them, nor are they lawful for them. But give them what they have spent. You are not at fault if you marry them, provided you give them their compensation. And do not hold on to ties with unbelieving women, but demand what you have spent, and let them demand what they have spent. This is the rule of Allah; He rules among you. Allah is Knowing and Wise.

O ye who believe! When believing women come unto you as fugitives, examine them. Allah is Best Aware of their faith. Then, if ye know them for true believers, send them not back unto the disbelievers. They are not lawful for them (the disbelievers), nor are they (the disbelievers) lawful for them. And give them (the disbelievers) that which they have spent (upon them). And it is no sin for you to marry such women when ye have given them their dues. And hold not to the ties of disbelieving women; and ask for (the return of) that which ye have spent; and let them (the disbelievers) ask for that which they have spent. That is the judgment of Allah. He judgeth between you. Allah is Knower, Wise.

Ey o bütün iyman edenler! Size mü'mine kadınlar muhacir olarak geldikleri zaman kendilerini imtihan edin, iymanlarını Allah bilir, imtihan üzerine onları mü'mine bilirseniz artık kendilerini kâfirlere geri çevirmeyin, mü'mineler hâfirlere halâl değil, kâfirler de mü'minelere halâl olmazlar: Maamafih sarfettikleri mehri o kâfirlere verin, sizin o mü'mineleri nikâh etmenizide de, kendilerine mehirlerini verdiğiniz takdirde, üzerinize bir günah yoktur, kâfirlerin ise ısmetlerine yapışmayın ve sarfettiğinizi isteyin, kâfirler de sarfettiklerini istesinler, bunlar, size Allahın hukmüdür, aranızda hukmediyor ve Allah alîmdir hakîmdir

Lorsque des femmes croyantes, fuyant l’idolâtrie, viennent à vous, mettez leur foi à L’ÉPREUVE. Dieu connaît bien leur foi ; mais vous, éprouvez-les, et, si vous êtes sûrs qu’elles sont croyantes, ne les laissez plus retourner auprès des infidèles ; il n’est pas légitime qu’elles soient à eux, ni qu’eux soient leurs maris ; mais restituez ce qu’ils leur ont donné (leur dot). Il n’y a pas de crime pour vous à les épouser, mais assurez-leur leur dot. Ne gardez point les femmes infidèles, mais demandez la restitution de ce que vous leur avez donné à titre de dot, de même que les infidèles vous redemanderont ce qu’ils auront donné aux leurs. C’est un précepte que Dieu établit entre vous ; il est savant et sage.

O ware geloovigen! indien geloovige vrouwen als vluchtelingen tot u komen, beproeft haar: God is wel bekend met haar geloof. En als gij weet dat zij ware geloovigen zijn, zendt haar dan niet tot de ongeloovigen terug. Het is haar niet geoorloofd de ongeloovigen te huwen, en de ongeloovigen mogen haar niet huwen. Maar geeft haren ongeloovigen echtgenooten, wat zij voor hare bruidschatten zullen hebben besteed. Het is u geoorloofd haar te huwen; maar verzeker haar heuren bruidschat. Behoudt de ongeloovige vrouwen niet, maar vraagt datgene terug, wat gij besteed hebt voor den bruidschat van diegene uwer vrouwen, welke tot de ongeloovigen overloopen, en laat hen terugvragen, wat zij besteed hebben voor de bruidschatten hunner vrouwen, die tot u overloopen. Dit is Gods oordeel, hetgeen hij voor u vaststelt; en God is alwetend en wijs.

Quando donne credenti vengano a voi fuggendo dal seno dell’idolatria, mettete la lor fede alla prova. Dio conosce bene la loro fede; ma voi (provatele) e se siete sicuri che siano credenti, non le lasciate più ritornare presso gl’infedeli; non è legittimo ch’elleno sieno ad essi, nè ch’essi sieno loro mariti; ma restituite ciò ch’essi han dato (la dote). Non è delitto per voi di sposarle, ma assicurate loro la dote. Non conservate le mogli infedeli, ma domandate la restituzione di ciò che avete lor dato in dote, come egualmente gli infedeli vi ridomanderanno ciò che avranno dato alle lor mogli. È un precetto che Dio vi dà, egli è sapiente e savio.
