Quran 5:95

O you who believe! Do not kill game while you are in pilgrim sanctity. Whoever of you kills any intentionally, its penalty shall be a domestic animal comparable to what he killed, as determined by two honest persons among you—an offering delivered to the Kaabah. Or he may atone by feeding the needy, or its equivalent in fasting, so that he may taste the consequences of his conduct. Allah forgives what is past. But whoever repeats, Allah will take revenge on him. Allah is Almighty, Avenger.

O ye who believe! Kill no wild game while ye are on the pilgrimage. Whoso of you killeth it of set purpose he shall pay its forfeit in the equivalent of that which he hath killed, of domestic animals, the judge to be two men among you known for justice, (the forfeit) to be brought as an offering to the Ka'bah; or, for expiation, he shall feed poor persons, or the equivalent thereof in fasting, that he may taste the evil consequences of his deed. Allah forgiveth whatever (of this kind) may have happened in the past, but whoso relapseth, Allah will take retribution from him. Allah is Mighty, Able to Requite (the wrong).

Ey o bütün iman edenler sizler ihramda iken avı öldürmeyin, içinizden her kim onu amden öldürürse ona mevaşîden öldürdüğünün misli bir ceza vardır ki Kâbe’ye vasıl olmuş bir kurbanlık olmak üzere buna aranızdan adâlet sahibi iki adam hukmeder veya bir keffaret vardır ki o nisbette fukarayı doyurmak veya onun dengi oruç tutmaktır, tâ ki bu suretle ettiğinin vebalini tatsın, Allah geçmişi afiv buyurdu, fakat kim bir daha yaparsa Allah ondan onun intikamını alacak, Allah azizdir, intikamı vardır.

Ô vous qui croyez ! Ne vous livrez point à la chasse pendant que vous êtes dans la tenue sacrée du pèlerinage. Quiconque tuera un animal à la chasse avec préméditation sera tenu de le compenser par un animal domestique d’égale valeur ; deux hommes consciencieux prononceront là-dessus, et l’animal donné comme compensation sera envoyé en offrande à la Caaba, ou bien l’expiation aura lieu par la nourriture donnée aux pauvres, ou bien par le jeûne, pour que le coupable éprouve les mauvaises suites de son action. Dieu oublie le passé ; mais celui qui retombera dans le péché encourra la vengeance de Dieu ; et certes Dieu est puissant et vindicatif.

O ware geloovigen! doodt geen wild, terwijl gij aan den pelgrimstocht deelneemt. Hij onder u, die een dier opzettelijk heeft gedood, zal een gelijk dier moeten teruggeven, als datgene wat hij doodde, in huisdieren, overeenkomstig de beslissing van twee rechtvaardige personen, om als een offer naar den Caaba-tempel te worden gebracht, of ter vergoeding daarvan zal hij armen voeden, of, in plaats daarvan vasten, opdat hij de afschuwelijkheid van zijne daad moge gevoelen. God heeft vergeven wat voorbij is, maar hij die nogmaals zondigt, op dien zal God zich wreken; want God is machtig en in staat tot wraak.

O voi che credete! non vi permettete la caccia nel tempo che fate il pellegrinaggio della Mecca. Chi ucciderà un animale a caccia dovrà compensarlo con un animale domestico dello stesso valore; due uomini probi stabiliranno ciò, e l’animale restituito sarà mandato ad offrire al tempio della Kaaba, oppure l’espiazione avrà luogo mediante il nudrimento dei poveri, o mediante il digiuno, purchè il colpevole subisca le conseguenze della sua cattiva azione. Dio dimentica il passato: ma colui che ricadrà nel peccato incorrerà nella vendetta di Dio; e certamente Dio è potente, e vendicativo.
