Quran 5:70

We made a covenant with the Children of Israel, and We sent to them messengers. Whenever a messenger came to them with what their souls did not desire, some of them they accused of lying, and others they put to death.

We made a covenant of old with the Children of Israel and We sent unto them messengers. As often as a messenger came unto them with that which their souls desired not (they became rebellious). Some (of them) they denied and some they slew.

Celâlim Hakk’ı için Ben-î İsraîl’in misakını aldık ve kendilerine Resuller gönderdik, canlarının istemediği bir hükmîle bir Resul geldikçe onlara bir takımına yalancı dediler, bir takımını da öldürüyorlardı.

Nous avons accepté l’alliance des enfants d’Israël, et nous leur avons envoyé des prophètes ; toutes les fois que les prophètes leur annonçaient les vérités que rejetaient leurs penchants, ils accusaient les uns d’imposture et assassinaient les autres.

Wij hebben vroeger het verbond van de kinderen Israëls aangenomen en gezanten tot hen gezonden. Zoo dikwijls een apostel tot hen kwam, met dat wat hunne zielen niet begeerden, beschuldigden zij sommigen van hen van misleiding, en doodden eenigen van hen.

Noi abbiamo accettato il patto dei figli d’Israele, e abbiamo loro mandati i profeti; tutte le volte che i profeti annunziavano le verità che si opponevano alle loro inclinazioni, accusavano gli uni d’impostura, ed uccidevano gli altri.
