Quran 5:44

We have revealed the Torah, wherein is guidance and light. The submissive prophets ruled the Jews according to it, so did the rabbis and the scholars, as they were required to protect Allah’s Book, and were witnesses to it. So do not fear people, but fear Me. And do not sell My revelations for a cheap price. Those who do not rule according to what Allah revealed are the unbelievers.

Lo! We did reveal the Torah, wherein is guidance and a light, by which the prophets who surrendered (unto Allah) judged the Jews, and the rabbis and the priests (judged) by such of Allah's Scripture as they were bidden to observe, and thereunto were they witnesses. So fear not mankind, but fear Me. And My revelations for a little gain. Whoso judgeth not by that which Allah hath revealed: such are disbelievers.

Filvaki biz Tevrat’ı indirdik, onda bir hidayet, bir nur vardı, müslim olan nebiyyûn, Yahudîler’e onunla hükmederlerdi, Rabbaniyyun ve ahbar da, kitabullahın muhafazâsına memur edilmiş olmaları ve üzerine nâzır ve murakıb bulunmaları hasebile hükmederlerdi, artık insanlardan korkmayın benden korkun, benim âyetlerimi bir kaç paraya değişmeyin, ey hâkimler! Her kim Allah’ın indirdiği ahkâm ile hükmetmezse onlar hep kâfirlerdir.

Nous avons fait descendre le Pentateuque ; il contient la direction de la bonne voie et la lumière. Les prophètes, vrais croyants résignés à la volonté de Dieu, devaient juger les juifs selon ce livre ; les docteurs et les prêtres devaient juger selon les parties du livre de Dieu, dont ils avaient la garde ; ils étaient comme témoins de la loi vis-à-vis des juifs. Ô juifs ! Ne craignez point les hommes ; craignez-moi, et ne donnez pas mes signes en échange d’un prix intime. Ceux qui ne jugeront pas conformément à la vérité que Dieu a fait descendre d’en haut sont infidèles.

Waarlijk wij hebben hun de wet nedergezonden, bevattende de goede richting en licht. De profeten, die tot den waren godsdienst behoorden, richtten de Joden naar dat boek; de leeraren en priesters richtten volgens de gedeelten van Gods boek; en zij waren er getuigen van. Vrees dus geene menschen maar vrees mij; en verkoop mijne teekens niet voor een lagen prijs. En zij die niet richten volgens hetgeen God heeft geopenbaard, zijn ongeloovigen.

Noi abbiamo fatto scendere il Pentateuco; questo contiene la luce e la direzione. I profeti, veri credenti, rassegnati a Dio, dovevano giudicare gli ebrei secondo questo libro; i dottori, ed i sacerdoti giudicavano secondo le porzioni del libro di Dio di cui erano depositari; erano come testimonj. O ebrei! non temete gli uomini, temete solo me, e non vendete i miei segni per un prezzo basso. Quei che non giudicheranno conforme alla verità che Dio ha fatto scendere dall’alto, sono infedeli.
