Quran 5:19

O People of the Book! Our Messenger has come to you, making things clear to you—after a cessation of messengers—so that you cannot say, “No preacher has come to us, and no warner.” In fact, a preacher has come to you, and a warner; and Allah is Capable of everything.

O People of the Scripture! Now hath Our messenger come unto you to make things plain unto you after an interval (of cessation) of the messengers, lest ye should say: There came not unto us a messenger of cheer nor any warner. Now hath a messenger of cheer and a warner come unto you. Allah is Able to do all things.

Ey Ehl-i kitap! peygamberin arası kesildiği, bilinemez hale geldiği bir fetret zamanında bakınız size Resulümüz geldi, tatlı ve acı hakıkatleri size beyan ediyor, bize ne beşaretle sevindirecek bir müjdeci, ne ihtar ile kocunduracak bir inzarcı gelmedi demeyeseniz, işte size hem beşîr, hem nezîr bir peygamber geldi, ve Allah her şeye kadîrdir.

Ô vous qui avez reçu les Écritures ! Notre envoyé va vous éclairer sur la cessation des prophètes, afin que vous ne disiez plus : Il ne nous vient plus d’annonciateur, d’avertisseur. Le voilà au milieu de vous, cet annonciateur, cet avertisseur, et Dieu est puissant sur toute chose.

O gij! die de schriften hebt ontvangen, thans is onze apostel onder u gekomen, om u den waren godsdienst te verklaren, gedurende de schorsing der apostelen, opdat gij niet meer zoudt zeggen: Er kwam niemand tot ons, die goede tijdingen bracht, noch eenige waarschuwer: maar nu is een bode van goede tijdingen en een waarschuwer tot u gekomen; want God is almachtig.

O voi che avete avuto le Scritture! il nostro inviato vi chiarirà sulla cessazione dei profeti. Non direte più: Non vengono più apostoli per annunziarci le sue promesse, e le sue minaccie. Uno ve n’è fra voi, e Dio è onnipotente.
