Quran 5:108

That makes it more likely that they will give true testimony, fearing that their oaths might be contradicted by subsequent oaths. So fear Allah, and listen. Allah does not guide the disobedient people.

Thus it is more likely that they will bear true witness or fear that after their oaths the oaths (of others) will be taken. So be mindful of your duty (to Allah) and hearken. Allah guideth not the froward folk.

Bu işte şehadeti olduğu gibi eda etmelerine veya yeminlerinden sonra yeminlerinin reddedilmesinden korkmalarına en yakın bir çaredir, Allah’dan korkun ve iyi dinleyin, çünkü Allah fasıklar güruhunu doğru yola çıkarmaz.

Par cette disposition il sera plus facile d’obtenir que les hommes rendent un témoignage vrai ; Car ils craindront qu’un autre ne soit rendu après le leur. Craignez donc Dieu et écoutez-le ; il ne dirige point les pervers.

Dit zal gemakkelijker zijn, dat de menschen eene getuigenis afleggen overeenkomstig hare ware bedoeling, of zij zullen vreezen, dat een andere eed na hunnen eed mocht worden afgelegd. Vreest daarom God en luistert; want God leidt de onrechtvaardigen niet.

Con questa disposizione sarà più facile ottenere che gli uomini rendano una testimonianza fedele, poichè temeranno che dopo la loro ne sia fatta un’altra. Temete dunque Dio, ed ascoltatelo. Ei non dirige i perversi.
