Quran 18:57

Who does greater wrong than he, who, when reminded of his Lord’s revelations, turns away from them, and forgets what his hands have put forward? We have placed coverings over their hearts, lest they understand it, and heaviness in their ears. And if you call them to guidance, they will not be guided, ever.

And who doth greater wrong than he who hath been reminded of the revelations of his Lord, yet turneth away from them and forgetteth what his hands send forward (to the Judgment)? Lo! on their hearts We have placed coverings so that they understand not, and in their ears a deafness. And though thou call them to the guidance, in that case they can never be led aright.

O kimseden daha zâlim de kim olabilir ki: Rabbının âyâtı ile nasıhat edilmiştir de onlardan yüz çevirmiş ve ellerinin takdim ettiği şeyleri unutmuştur; çünkü biz onların kalbleri üzerine onu iyi anlamalarına mani bir takım kabuklar ve kulaklarına bir ağırlık koymuşuzdur, sen onları doğru yola çağırsan da o halde onlar ebeden yola gelmezler

Quel être plus coupable que celui qui se détourne quand on lui récite nos enseignements, qui oublie les actions qu’il avait commises lui-même ? Nous avons recouvert leurs cœurs de plus d’une enveloppe, pour qu’ils ne comprennent point le Koran, et nous avons jeté la pesanteur dans leurs oreilles. Quand même tu les appellerais à la droite voie, ils ne la suivraient alors jamais.

En wie is onrechtvaardiger dan hij, die bekend is gemaakt met de teekens van zijn Heer, maar zich ver daarvan verwijdert en vergeet wat hij vroeger verricht heeft? Waarlijk wij hebben sluiers over hunne harten geworpen, dat zij den Koran niet zouden verstaan, en wij wierpen zwaarte in hunne ooren. Indien gij hen tot de ware richting oproept, zullen zij die nog altijd niet volgen.

Evvi più colpevole di colui che si rivolge da un’altra parte quando gli si raccontano i nostri insegnamenti, che dimentica le azioni che aveva commesse? Noi abbiamo ricoperto il lor cuore di più invoglie perchè non comprendano il Corano, ed abbiamo assordite le loro orecchia. Quand’anche tu li chiamassi alla via dritta, non la seguirebbero mai.
