Quran 3:153

Remember when you fled, not caring for anyone, even though the Messenger was calling you from your rear. Then He repaid you with sorrow upon sorrow, so that you would not grieve over what you missed, or for what afflicted you. Allah is Informed of what you do.

When ye climbed (the hill) and paid no heed to anyone, while the messenger, in your rear, was calling you (to fight). Therefor He rewarded you grief for (his) grief, that (He might teach) you not to sorrow either for that which ye missed or for that which befell you. Allah is Informed of what ye do.

O sıra siz boyuna uzaklaşıyordunuz, kimseye dönüp bakmıyordunuz, peygamber ise arkanızdan sizleri çağırıp duruyordu, bunun üzerine Allah sizi gama karşı gam ile müsab kıldı ki ne elinizden giden zafere ne de başınıza gelen musibete mahzun olmayasınız, ve Allah biliyor, ne yapıyordunuz.

Souvenez-vous qu’alors vous preniez la flûte en désordre, et vous ne vous attendiez pas les uns les autres, pendant que le prophète sur vos derrières vous appelait au combat. Dieu vous a fait éprouver affliction sur affliction, afin que vous ne ressentiez plus de chagrin à cause du butin qui vous échappa et du malheur qui vous atteignit. Dieu est instruit de toutes vos actions.

Herinnert u, hoe gij tegen de hoogte opgeklommen zijt, en naar geen uwer omzaagt, terwijl de profeet u riep. Toen liet God bedroefenis op bedroefenis over u komen, opdat gij geene droefheid zoudt gevoelen over het verlies van den buit en over andere treurige gebeurtenissen. God kent al uwe daden.

Nell’atto che fuggivate in disordine, e che non davate ascolto ad alcuno, il profeta vi richiamava alla guerra. Iddio vi ha mandato afflizione sopra afflizione acciocchè voi non sentiste più alcuna pena per il bottino che non poteste prendere, e per la disgrazia che ne seguì. Dio sa tutte le vostre azioni.
