Quran 11:62
| EnglishTalal Itani | They said, “O Saleh, we had hopes in you before this. Are you trying to prevent us from worshiping what our parents worship? We are in serious doubt regarding what you are calling us to.” |
|---|---|
| EnglishPickthall, 1930 | They said: O Salih! Thou hast been among us hitherto as that wherein our hope was placed. Dost thou ask us not to worship what our fathers worshipped? Lo! we verily are in grave doubt concerning that to which thou callest us. |
| DutchKeyzer, 1860, from Kazimirski's French | Zij antwoordden: O Saleh! |
| ItalianCalza, 1847, from Kazimirski's French | Essi risposero: O Saleh! tu eri la nostra speranza. |
