Quran 35:13

He merges the night into the day, and He merges the day into the night; and He regulates the sun and the moon, each running for a stated term. Such is Allah, your Lord; His is the sovereignty. As for those you call upon besides Him, they do not possess a speck.

He maketh the night to pass into the day and He maketh the day to pass into the night. He hath subdued the sun and moon to service. Each runneth unto an appointed term. Such is Allah, your Lord; His is the Sovereignty; and those unto whom ye pray instead of Him own not so much as the white spot on a date-stone.

Geceyi gündüze sokuyor, Şems-ü Kameri ram etmiş her biri (müsemmâ bir ecele) mukadder bir gayeye akıp gidiyor, işte bu gördüklerinizi yapan Allah, rabbınız, mülk onun, ondan beride çağırdıklarınız bir kıtmîr idare edemezler

Il fait entrer la nuit dans le jour, et le jour dans la nuit. Il vous a assujetti le soleil et la lune ; chacun de ces astres poursuit sa course jusqu’à un terme marqué. Tel est votre Seigneur ; le pouvoir n’appartient qu’à lui. Ceux que vous invoquez en dehors de lui ne disposent pas même de la pellicule qui enveloppe le noyau de la datte.

Hij doet den nacht aan den dag opvolgen en hij doet den nacht door den dag vervangen, en hij dwingt de zon en de maan haren dienst te verrichten: ieder van haar loopt een bepaalde baan af. Dit is God, uw Heer; hem is het koninkrijk. Maar de afgoden welke gij naast hem aanroept, hebben zelfs de macht niet over het vlies van eene dadelpit.

Egli fa entrare il giorno nella notte, e la notte nel giorno. Vi ha assoggettato il sole e la luna; ciascheduno di questi astri siegue il suo corso fino al limite fissato. Tale è il vostro Signore; il potere non appartiene che a lui. Quei che invocate fuori di lui non possono disporre neppure della pellicola che ricuopre il nocciolo del dattero.
