Quran 48:16

Say to the Desert-Arabs who lagged behind, “You will be called against a people of great might; you will fight them, unless they submit. If you obey, Allah will give you a fine reward. But if you turn away, as you turned away before, He will punish you with a painful punishment.”

Say unto those of the wandering Arabs who were left behind: Ye will be called against a folk of mighty prowess, to fight them until they surrender; and if ye obey, Allah will give you a fair reward; but if ye turn away as ye did turn away before, He will punish you with a painful doom.

De ki o geri bırakılan a'râbîlere: siz ileride şiddetli harb ehli bir kavme çağırılacaksınız, onlara muharebe edersiniz yâhud müsliman olurlar. Eğer itaat ederseniz o vakıt Allah size güzel bir ecir verir ve eğer bundan evvel yaptığınız gibi aksine giderseniz sizi elîm bir azâb ile ta'zib eyler

Dis encore aux Arabes du désert qui sont restés chez eux : Nous vous appellerons à marcher contre un peuple doué d’une puissance terrible, vous combattrez ces gens jusqu’à ce qu’ils se fassent musulmans. Si vous obéissez, Dieu vous accordera une belle récompense ; mais, si vous tergiversez comme vous l’avez déjà fait une fois, il vous infligera un châtiment douloureux.

Zeg tot de Arabieren van de woestijn, die achtergelaten werden: Gij zult tegen een machtig en oorlogszuchtig volk worden opgeroepen; en gij zult tegen hen kampen, tot zij den Islam zullen belijden. Indien gij gehoorzaamt, zal God u eene glansrijke belooning geven; maar indien gij u afwendt, zooals gij u vroeger hebt afgewend, zal hij u met eene gestrenge kastijding straffen.

Di’ ancora agli arabi del deserto che sono rimasti in casa: Vi chiameremo a battervi contro nazioni potenti; voi le combatterete finchè non abbraccieranno l’islamismo. Se obbedirete, Dio vi accorderà una bella ricompensa; ma se tergiverserete, come avete fatto altra volta vi darà un gastigo doloroso.
